and there story is one of Canada's shames.....
The Beothuck...Completly extincted at the hands of the ruthless Everyday another piece of our countries heritage is dying. Abuse by the Churches, the Government, Racism, and other factors such as over hunting have led to the decline, extinction, and destruction of many of our native cultures. Those that remain must heel the people from the horrors of residential schools, genocide, and corruption at the hands of fellow Canadians. Some of our tribes have been lost forever many more are close to dying. There is still time to save and preserve these cultures if we only open our eyes.
